International painter, designer and muralist Tommii Lim confronts the zeitgeist of today’s instant gratification, digital era by building large-scale works that deconstruct observation and form, seducing them into high contrast, minimalist black-and-white compositions. Lim seeks to disrupt a viewer’s line of sight by building bold, immersive installations and murals with his Optical Sculpture techniques, employing forced perspective methods to manipulate the human eye into forming 3D objects from 2D surfaces, thus allowing the viewer to fully immerse themselves in his paintings for a brief moment in time. Lim’s bold use of shape fits perfectly with the Proteus, itself a shape that forces a re-evaluation of archetypal templates and encourages an immersive interaction.
Set on a mid-sized Carver Proteus shape, the Tommii model provides lots of front foot area so you can really spread your feet out for a proper surfboard stance!

What’s the difference between the C7 and the CX?
The C7 dual-axis truck set is very fluid, like riding a single fin surfboard and replicating the lateral sway you feel as you pump for speed. The dual axis allows the rider to adjust both axis independently for fine tuning. It’s a bit heavier than CX truck, but the internal spring system allows for a wide range of adjustment. The trailing arm and wide adjustment range make this truck better for faster speeds and fluid surfing.
The CX truck is a single -axis truck with a precision pivot pin which allows for very snappy turns, like riding a thruster surfboard, and replicating the quick response you feel as you pump for speed. The single axis permits one axis of adjustment before a different shape or hardness of bushing is needed. It’s the same weight as a standard truck, but the simpler, lighter truck design is better for airs, skate parks and transition.
