The legend is slalom cult hero Dominic Kowalski came up with the idea of a harder race wheel, and Cult agreed and made it. Hence we have the Dominator. This was at a time when Dominic was unbeatable in slalom, his power and speed was unmatchable. Cult wheels were a large part of his secret sauce. 

Yes, these wheels are 86.66a and they are hard and fast. Not really good for carving and cruising unless you are skating on a super smooth surface and you are only interested in speed.

Other than a slalom racing front wheel, this wheel has found its place in the freeriding world. It is easy to put sideways at almost any speed, and it's sharp lip shape makes the hook up predictable.
