Gayrad Nippers 65mm 80a mini cruiser longboard wheel

In the 1970's if you were pimping out your Surfa Sam, you were putting on a set of Gayrad Nippers. Made by a Queensland roller skate company, they were the latest in urethane, grippier than clay wheels, and so damn sexy. A 1960's skateboard with clay wheels was a toy. Add urethane wheels and it was a surf machine. Finally skating was not about how many three sixties you could do, or handstands. You could surf the road out the front of your house!

When it came to naming our new longboard wheel, nostalgia got the better of us. It had to be Gayrad. Just like your dad, you can have a set of Gayrads too...it might bring a tear to the old man's eye. 

These are an awesome grippy wheel. Sharp edge, and they will hug a carve like snot on a door knob. Best of all they are clear blue, like the rock pools around Bondi Beach in summer. Look awesome on any type of deck.
